Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our Services including without limitation, site visitors, account holders and purchasers (collectively referred to as “Users”). This Privacy Policy does not cover the practices of companies we don’t own or control, or any other third parties.

Also, we may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. This confirmation helps us make our communications with you more interesting and improve our services.

If you do not want to receive communications from us, please indicate your preference by following the instructions in the message or contacting us at [email protected]. Information We Share with Third Parties

We may share your personal information with third parties as described in this section:

Service Providers: We may engage third-party service providers to help us administer, provide, and improve the Services, including but not limited to the following types of partners: web hosting providers, cloud hosting providers, fraud detection services, fulfillment service providers, and customer support partners. These third-party services providers will have access to your Personal Information for the purpose of performing services on our behalf. For example, we may share your Personal Information with our cloud hosting providers (for example, Amazon Web Services) as part of our utilization of their hosting Services.

Advertising Partners: We may deliver a file to you through the Services (e.g., a “cookie” or a “web beacon”) from an ad network. These technologies allow ad networks to provide auditing, research and reporting for us and for advertisers. They also enable ad networks to collect information about your activities and serve personalized advertisements to you when you visit other websites. Because your web browser must request these advertisements and technologies from the ad network’s servers, these companies can view, edit, or set their own cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site. You may be able to opt-out of tracking conducted by third parties through our Services by adjusting settings on your browser. You may also be able to opt out of receiving personalized advertisements from advertisers or ad networks that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative or that subscribe to the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out sections on the websites of each of those organizations, which can be accessed here: Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance. While you can opt out of personalized advertising, you may continue to see non-personalized online advertising on the Services and/or our ads on other Internet websites. In addition, please note that cookie-based opt-outs are not effective on mobile applications. However, for some devices you may use your device’s platform controls in your settings to exercise choice (e.g. Android, iOS, and others).

Other Third Parties. We may share anonymized or aggregated data we collect from the use of the Services, including but not limited to de-identified demographic information, de-identified location information, information about the computer or device from which you access the Services, market trends, and other analysis that we create based on the information we receive from you and other Users.

Our Affiliates. We share information with our website to help us provide our Services.

For more information regarding the collection and use of such information by Facebook, please see the Facebook Data Policy, available here.

Business Transfers: We may choose to buy or sell assets, and may share and/or transfer customer information in connection with the evaluation of and entry into such transactions. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party, and we would share personal information with the party that is acquiring our assets. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of us or our assets may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Right to request disclosure of information collected. You have the right to request details on the specific personal information we’ve collected about you. We provide detailed information about the types of information we collect throughout this Privacy Policy, but you may also contact us directly to inquire about your Personal Information specifically, as described in the section below.

Right to request disclosure of information shared or sold. First, we do not sell your Personal Information, within the meaning of the CCPA. And you do have the right under CCPA to contact us at any time, as described in the section below, to request this information from us.

Right to opt out of selling of your Personal Information. As stated above, we do not sell your Personal Information, within the meaning of the CCPA. That said, in the event that we ever do choose to sell data to third parties, we will provide a method to allow our Users to opt out of that selling, in accordance with California law.

Right to request deletion of data. You have the right to request deletion of your data, unless an exception applies. Examples of exceptions include when we need to keep data to meet legal obligations, detect fraud, investigate reports of abuse or other violations of our Terms and Conditions, or fix security issues. Additionally, an exception would apply if we would be unable to provide the services that you signed up for without the data, in which case, you are free to request account deletion and cease use of the services. Once we’ve verified your request, we’ll delete your personal information (unless an exception applies) and will direct our service providers to do the same.

In the last twelve months, we have collected the following categories of personal information about our Users. In some cases the data is provided directly by Users. In other cases it was provided by third parties, or obtained through use interaction with our services.

  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as session logs, search history, information about your interaction with a website, or advertisement. We primarily use this type of information to help understand how our services are performing for Users, as well as to improve our own understanding of our services.
  • Geolocation information, such as your IP address which provides a rough approximation of location. We use this data primarily to understand where our Users are accessing the services, to customize our offerings to their location, and in some cases to provide more relevant advertising.
  • Inferences, such as your preferences or likelihood of being interested in different products or services we offer. We use this information primarily for marketing purposes.

Information Sharing. In the past 12 months, we’ve disclosed the above categories of information for business purposes, or at your direction, with our service providers, affiliates, and other third-parties. Links to Other Sites

Our Services may contain links to websites and services that are owned or operated by third parties (each, a “Third-party Service”). Any information that you provide on or to a Third-party Service or that is collected by a Third-party Service is provided directly to the owner or operator of the Third-party Service and is subject to the owner’s or operator’s privacy policy. We’re not responsible for the content, privacy, or security practices and policies of any Third-party Service. To protect your information we recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of all Third-party Services that you access.

Security

Your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You must prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account. We endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other personal information we hold in our records, but unfortunately, no person or website cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of User information at any time.

Data Retention and Deletion

We need to retain the information you provide us in order to provide our Services, and we retain such information for as long as you maintain your account, at a minimum. We also retain certain relevant information, including transaction, location, device, and usage information, for as long as it is required to do so, in connection with regulatory, tax, insurance, legal, administrative, and other requirements. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Following such a request, we will delete the information that it is not necessary to retain. In certain circumstances, we may be unable to delete your account, such as if there is an outstanding credit or debt on your account or an unresolved dispute, ongoing investigation (e.g. for fraud or misuse), or we believe that we may be required to retain your account for legal reasons. Upon resolution of the issue preventing deletion, we will delete your account as described above. We may also retain certain information if necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing Users’ safety and security. For example, if we shut down a User’s account because of security or fraud incidents, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent that User from opening a new account in the future.

Cross Border Transfer

Your Personal Information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.
